Yes, and in fact I actually looked at on at my local camera shop. Some of
things I would miss, which I did not mention before, are the mirror lockup
and the 97% viewfinder that the old OM's had. Also it is much noiser when
the shutter is released. But the spotmeter option is appealing.
I have used my OM's for a wide variety of photography over many years
(school pictures, weddings, product shots from diamond saws to microscopes)
although I am not a full-time professional. I used them mostly for nature
and landscape photography which is my hobby. I could carry a lot of
equipment (2 cameras and lenses) when backpacking because of the
compactness and reasonably lightweightness. I did not have to worry about
temperature conditions and since the bodies were relatively inexpensive, I
was not afraid to try some unusual images where there was a chance of water
damage (canoeing or from the bottom of Niagara Falls for example).
So everytime I begin to think about getting rid of them, I remember the
good times and pics I have gotten with the equipment and hang on to it for
a while longer.
