I don't know about it being standard, but I have seen several OM-2 "kits" for
sale in pawn shops with a 50mm f1.4 and no f1.8. By "kit" I mean a body with
several lenses and a bag of some sort with a few standard accessories. I saw
one on my last trip to Anchorage and there is another for sale here in Juneau
right now. I seem to recall seeing price lists from the late 70's to early 80's
listing bodies with both 1.8 and 1.4 lenses.
I did not buy either because they were not in very good condition and were
priced high to boot. If anyone is interested in a 75-150 with a separating
element, a 35-70 f3.6 with a very gritty feeling focus and stiff zoom action,
or a T-20 with a broken foot to go with an OM-2n body in no better than 8
condition (one with a large dent) for only $400-$500 US; I can point you to a
nice little pawn shop.

Subject: [OM] standard lenses
Does anyone know whether the 50mm F1.4 was ever standard issue with the
OM1/2/3/4?
