I suppose the return rate on the Cosina made Nikon is also 20%? I seriously
doubt that there has been much of a return rate at all, but the salesman was
passing along hearsay. Return rates that high haven't been seen since the
OM-88/77 days. : (
Reliability, in this case, has little to do with the manufacturing, but the
engineering. Most manufacturing errors will result in DOA failures (dead on
arrival). As long as Olympus/Cosina gave a rip about relaibility, I would
give a second thought as to who/where it was manufactured.
