You may want to consider the Vivitar 28-210/3.5-5.6 w/macro. It is one of the
sharpest, lightest, all around best general use zooms we have ever tried.
fourteen ounces, 4.5 inches long, coated optics, one touch, 72mm front filter
size. Paul.
