Hi all!
I`ve had this recurring prob with some pics, a small black smudge (that
looks like the roadrunner) at the righthand bottom of my shots. I have
finally located the source; my OM-1. And (having tested out my lenses) it`s
most blurred with a Sigma 39-80/3,5 macro; and least on the Zuiko 75-150/4
and 50/1,8.
I can`t see anything (wrong) through the viewfinder or the mirror, and it
occurs on all pics, regardless of lens/aperture (the only variation is how
blurred it is).
Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Is it time for the shop,
or might I be able to fix it myself? *sigh* It`s perfect for IR
photography, but has ruined too many pics for it to be of any "serious"
use.... unless I want to cheat and make a wider frame and crop my
prints..........
At least I can now show and explain the differences between a 28mm and
400mm to my students... ;-)
cheers,
Siri.
