I just looked up the chronological table of the history of Olympus cameras
from the Olympus Japan website. It is indeed that the OM-4 was introduced
before the OM-2SP. In addition, the OM-3 was introduced in the same month
when the -2SP was introduced.
OM-4 October 1983
OM-3 October 1984
OM-2SP October 1984
Does OM-2SP use half-mirror like OM-4 does ? I am wondering if Olympus
was alredy thinking of the new (2-xx) screens, however, maybe it was lower
priority project. Oly introduced many other SLRs and P/S in the '80s viewing
from this chronological table.
