Hey y'all,
stopped by my photo dealer's right before the Easter weekend to pick up some
prints I had made and discovered an Ex++ OM-mount Kiron 28 - 105 f 3.2 -
4.5 MC lens at the equivalent of about US $ 70.-. Somehow, I found it
impossible to leave the store without it. :-)
The lens gives a very solid impression, is rather heavy and seems to be all
metal. It's not a real zoom lens as it changes focus when zooming, and it's
a one touch design, but I like the way it focuses - really makes the view
finder "snap" into focus. It does have 1:4 macro capability and focuses down
to 45 cm.
While I'm waiting for the first roll of film I shot with it to get
processed, I'm curious as to what thoughts some of you specialists on the
list have on this lens.
MtFbwy,
Volkhart
