Sorry for replying so late; I had a lot of work coming in the last few weeks
and didn't get around to reading much more than my private email - about
1100 Olympus-mails to go.
As I wrote - check the color. The green ones (like ISI or many no-names) are
supposed to last only about 10 years; the golden (like Kodak) and blue (like
Verbatim) ones are said to be good for 100 years. Don't know about the
magneto-opticals.
