OK, but don't care. I was just trying John Shaws test method to see if my
camera metering system needed a circular or linear polaizer. As Lee pointed
out, the OTF metering in the 4T in auto will give correct exposure. But, I do
not want to "THINK" I am shooting at 1/125 sec and the auto shoots at 1/30th
because the 2 metering systems do not agree. Therefore, I will always use a
Circular in my 4T, and I believe John's Test is a simple method to confirm
this question.
