William;
I'm not sure I'd sacrifice my hard-earned money JUST for this reason.
BUT, I do think you've got a point. I intend to buy an OM-2000 (as soon
as my wife will allow it - OUCH, it's hard for someone who's been a
bachelor for over 20 years to say that!) for 3 reasons:
1) I need another body and would prefer this time to buy a new one as
opposed to a used body for about the same price.
2) The 2000 has multiple-exposure, which no other OM body has.
3) As you say - It may encourage Oly to stay in the SLR market and
produce the much-desired OM-5/6 body we're really waiting for.
