My OM-1 which I bought ~'74 is still going strong. It jammed around 5
or 6 years ago and I decided to repair it myself. I didn't identify any
problem, but it worked fine after it was reassembled. I gave it to my
nephew soon after, together with a clutch of lenses that I didn't use
much anymore. He has used it almost daily since then and yesterday set
off to LA on the first stage of his year long round world tour with it.
