Here are some more tests of Zuikos; the code is
Resolution: f stop; resolution at center (graded as P[poor], G [good], V [very
good] E[excellent]); line pairs/mm; resolution at corner (graded as P[poor], G
[good], V [very good] E[excellent); line pairs/mm.
Contrast at 30 lines/mm is noted as: f stop; summary of contrast in
center(noted as: V[very low], L [low], M[medium], H[high]); ontrast;
summary of contrast in corner(noted as: V[very low], L [low], M[medium],
H[high]); ontrast at corner.
(Don't confuse V-very good resolution with V-very low contrast!)

That's all for now. This is all very tedious and I have other E mail to
answer. I also have 180/2 (MP 10/86), 100-200/5, 50/1.2, 18/3.5, OM G, OM-3,
OM-4, 50/1.4, 24/3.5 Shift, 70-210(AF), 90/2, 35-105, 35-70/4, 85-250/5, 21/2.
I could mail it to someone with a good scanner and they could post the whole
thing.
Here's a short one
500/8 tested as 498mm/f8.27
1.040incushion dist. 0.8 stop falloff
Resolution//Contrast
8 G 45 E 40//H 58 H 55
(looks like high contrast across the board)
As to the 180/2 mentioned in a few posts, this is one fantastic lens.
Resolution and contrast were either high or excellent at all aperatures from f
2 to f 22. In October 1986 the list cost was $3350.00. I'll just have to
struggle along with my Vivitar Series 1 200/3 which I got for about 1/20th of
the 1986 list price.
Good shooting.
