I too would be interested in such a beast, but for use with Oly Ext tubes.
I use the (brilliant!) Olympus 65-116 Tele Auto Tube sometimes, which has
it's own tripod collar/mount, but sometimes you don't want 65mm of ext -
when say using a 180F2.8 (PS:I don't think it is a "dog"...) or 200 F4 lens
on an ext tube(s) to get closer focus.
I don't always carry my TAT, but I rarely fail to throw a 25mm tube or two
in the bag. A mount under one of the ext tubes would be ideal to help
balance these otherwise awkward setups.
Has anyone been able to rig up something like Joel suggests? Does anyone
know of a commercially avail solution?
Actually, the external barrel diameter of the Zuiko 2xTC and 1.4xTC would
be very similar to the Oly ext tubes, so something that fits around one
would probably do for both ext tubes and TC's.
In one of the John Shaw Nature Video series he shows a N*k*n ext tube which
has a tripod collar - I don't know if it was stock standard or he has had
it modified.
