The 35-80 f/2.8 hood is included with the lens and to my knowledge is not
available seperately. The hood has a metal bayonet style mounting and the
"flower petal" shaped hood is made of rubber. Moulded into the rubber are
the words "OLYMPUS" and "35~80 mm f2.8" 180 degrees apart. Two things about
the hood strike me as interesting. One is its is reversible - you can put
it on backwards for easy storage. Secondly, the bayonet works opposite the
lens mount - twist CCW to put it on, CW to remove.
