Now all we need is a OM mount to Contax mount adapter, and we can turf the
OM bodies....

Seems that Contax at least is still pursuing the market for a high quality
small manual focus camera...

Contax has announced a new camera that looks interesting. The "Aria" has
been made, according to the Japanese press release, to be "a thorough
pursuit of what is 'small, light, and easy-to-use.'" It weighs under 17
ounces and appears to be slightly bigger in physical size than an Olympus
OM camera or something like a Nikon FM-2. Otherwise it bears a strong
family resemblance to the other Contax SLRs, with a molded handgrip and big
oversized knobs. It's also the first Contax with optional multi-segment
evaluative metering, in addition to center-weighted and spot. Built-in 3
fps motor wind, auto-bracketing, and 5 custom functions.
