John;
Okay, so I'm a butt-inski. You should have no problems going to a bank and
getting an international money order denominated in Canadian dollars (or any
other currency, for that matter). I do it all the time here in Canada for U.S.
money orders. Saves us poor Canucks having to eat service charges *and* the
banks' "offer" rate on buying U.S. dollars from us (both of which has caused me
to lose out on several transactions I've done cross-border when the U.S. person
sent a cheque or money order denominated in U.S. dollars -- for small stuff,
it's no big deal, but it really starts to hurt above about $100.00 CDN).
