First off,I goofed.I misquoted our price on the 75-150.(Memory
ain't what it used to be:)).Secondly,the vivitar wasn't THAT far off.
Thirdly,I was quoting LOCAL prices and as everyone pointed out,doesn't
always reflect the overall market.Mercury batteries are no longer allowed
in California,and because of it,some people aren't buying or selling
the OM1 anymore.Our used dept. tends to shy away from such cameras,even
though there are conversions (see Omtech).I paid $100 for one of my OM's,
$10 for the other.And you see them in some stores for more,GREAT variation
there.
so all and all,though my intentions were good,everyone is right.I
opened my mouth without thinking about what THIS market is.
