More like a strategy of Olympus Japan I fear! I expect to read about
the demise of the OM System within the next year or so - they have
already reached stage three of the corporate process of killing a line
off :
Stage 1 : stop new model developments
Stage 2 : reduce / stop production of existing models
Stage 3 : increase prices of remaining stock items
Stage 4 : cease all service and support
