Gary, it got ONE F rating, wide open, and at 20x24 inches !

Gary, I'm sorry if I appear to be rude, but I am merely addressing the
issue of the one "F"-rating at 35mm f/3.5 and at 20x24 print size. By that
criteria, one could say that the Canon 50/1.4, Canon 400/5.6 L, Vivitar
Ser I 24-70, Sigma 28-70/2.8, Tamron 70-300, etc., etc, all failed. One F
rating does not a failure make, is my point.
This 35-70 is hardly a gem of an optic, but the PP testers rated it as
having "well above average performance" at 35-50-70mm. The light fall off
is the part that bothered me, and it's not a terrible concern for color
print film users.
Please forgive my abrasiveness, Gary.
