Fellow Olympoids ---
My April Pop Photo arrived, and the OM-2000 is
tested. You'll be pleased as I was to know it got a good review. I quote
from the article: " In terms of overall performance, the OM2000 acquitted
itself admirably, providing a very high percentage of accurate exposures
in a variety of shooting conditions. It handles very well, and aside from
having a somewhat noisy shutter, is a very pleasant camera to use. While
it is devoid of bells & whistles, and not really upgradeable, it is a
camera that should satisfy anyone who yearns for a simple.straight
forward, manual-focus SLR."
Pop Photo also disassembles the OM2000 and ascertains: "It's an
all-metal chassis all right, and one a beautiful and durable as those
found in many a posh pro SLR."
The 35-70/3.5-4.8 did well, too. B-D
