It's now been about 5 months since my 4-T went in for service, and
about 2 weeks since the dealer again offered a full refund if I so
choose.
The problem is this: I only paid $450 for it (plus a $50 trade in
lens), and the only 4-T currently on the market here is $1200 CDN!!
I've thought about a decent OM-2 and a 100/2.8, with several to
choose from for about $225-295 each right now.
As much as I love the old OM-1 and 2, after using the metering system
on the 4-T, it would be hard to settle for a 2 again.
So for now, I've decided I will call Nortown in Toronto directly on
Monday and find out when my camera will be back, and hopefully hear
some good news after 5 months of waiting.
ps: I could also buy a new OM-2000 for $450CDN w/ 35-70, but...
Thanks for the advice so far.
