Got one from Eric Birdsall (sp.?), who used to frequent this list. Have used
it a few dozen times for macro in the field, always on a tripod, and the
results have been very sharp. (It's the only non-Zuiko lens I own.) I have no
way of comparing it to the worshiped Zuiko 90/2. It's a big, heavy sucker, so
be prepared for that. One nice little sidelight is that the accessory lens
that takes the Vivitar to 1:1 can also be used with my other longer Zuikos
(135/3.5; 200/4) to give them greater closeup capabilities.
