If my eyes doesn´t foul me completely the inscription on my 300/4.5 is
F.ZUIKO??? And where exactly is the "MC" inscribed if it is a multi-coated
lens? I bought mine rather early (late 70´s I think) as a demo lens and the
serial number is 103686.
BTW, I shot some of our lovely lion cubs today, and they are so small that I
had to use the macro mode on my IS-3000 to make the face on one of them fill
the viewfinder. It will be interesting to see if the red-eye reduction works on
lions!
