Theoretically, you could use the shift lens instead of the 35/f2.
However, recall that the 35 shift doesn't have an automatic/coupled
diaphragm. IOW, it functions as a preset lens, whose aperture you
must remember to close down manually before taking the shot.
FYI, the DOF button on OLY shift lenses is not spring-loaded, but
rather an ON/OFF push button. If you forget to close the aperture,
your photos will be overexposed, or at best -- have shallow DOF.
