The metric scale simply has the distances listed in meters with the associated
guide numbers. For example, the M panel will show the guide number on full
manual as 32 (I believe)Instead of the FT panel GN of 104. (With T flashes, the
model number is the guide number in meters with ISO 100 film)
If you're using the flash for TTL auto, it will behave exactly the same as the
FT
panel.
