OK, I just got my OM-1. It's in beautiful condition, but I do have a few
questions...
1) On the lensmount, adjacent to the self-timer lever, is a rotating
switch of some sort. What is it? (Mirror pre-lock?)
2) On the front of the camera body, directly above the self-timer lever,
is another small rotary switch. What is _it_? :)
One more...
There is a large on/off switch on the top deck, which I assumed turned the
meter on and off. Wrong again! There seems to be no rewind release - is
that what I'm looking at? If it's not, how do I unclutch it for rewind?
The camera is black leather(ette?), in what looks like new condition. It
came with a 50mm f1.8 Zuiko MC lens mounted - again in like-new condition.
There was an immensly cheap UV filter mounted, which immediately found it's
way into the trash. But who cares?
Also is a detachable hot shoe - pretty neat, although I don't know how
reliable it is. Doesn't matter - I won't be using a flash with this camera
anyway.
Anyone with answers?
