Hi Frank, Moon and others,
I'd second Frank in recommending the book he mentioned. It is lavishly
illustrated and gives a lot of technical detail on the OM-System
(including a short chapter on how to take pictures with a body and no
lens), but it starts off by themes (portrait, architecture, landscape,
repros etc.) and then looks at what gear might be useful (as opposed to
the 'now I got my 18mm lens, what can I do with it'-approach).
The book is out of print and will only be available from antiquarian
booksellers. Some of them have their own searchable homepages. You might
try http://www.antiquariate.de and follow the link 'Antiquariate mit
Online-Informationen'.
I payed DM 50 (US$ 28) for my copy and I think it's worth every
'Pfennig'. Good luck,
Soenke
P.S. In case I should stumble over another copy on my strolls through
antiquarian bookshops here in Hamburg, I'd let the list know (positively
no hard sell though!)
