Yes. I've checked it. It is very positive in "unlocking" the battery
cover. However, when unscrewing the cover with it, it sometimes slip
out of the slot. I suggest using your thumb to do it to prevent
scatches.
Actually, I don't remember what coin (or thing) I use to open the
battery cover. I just use something that is handy. My OM-2n dosen't
require frequent battery change.
