I understand the OM-4T has a "better" moisture seal than the OM-4. I recently
found that my OM-2S meter (with OM-4 level seals) started spikeing in the high
Florida humidity. The first auto exposure shot after I hadn't used it for a
few hours would go off at 1/1000 sec no matter the light level. It is working
fine now that I'm back in the desert! I once had bad humidity problems (in
Missouri) with the flash metering circuit in the OM-2 (original) and OLY
eventually declared it a lemon and gave me a refurbished OM-2n - which had
better moisture seals and acted fine. I put my cameras though virtual wars
being a field botanist and landscape photographer. If the moisture seal thing
is bunk or a OM-4 can can retrofitted, I'll quit holding out for a OM-4T.
