I had one of these which I bought for $99 2 years ago complete with
2x matched TC. It is quite soft wide open, gets better at around f/8,
but still never approaches the contrast and "colour" of my 135/3.5
Zuiko, which is probably the weakest lens I have. I found it annoying
to focus - the focus ring was quite light in feel, and seemed to have
an excessive range (maybe close to 360 deg). I suppose this is good
for macro fine tune focus, but a pain in normal use.
I traded this lens when I got my 4T, since I was never happy with the
shots I took with it. This is a very common lens around here - the
store I got my 4T at had two of them at the time, and the store 2
blocks away also had one - all were selling for $99 - 129 CDN, *with*
2X TC.
