Thanks for the kind message. After I stopped beating my head against the rock
I crawled under, I realized there was something I should make clear.
John did an ABSOLUTELY GREAT job repairing my OM-2S. The camera was
essentially DOA when I boxed it to send to him. During a torrential downpour
in the El Yunqee rainforest, water got into the base causing extensive damage
to the meter circuit, levers and gears. The "kiss of death". John generously
offered to look at it and see if he could repair it. Not only did he do a TOP
NOTCH job rebuilding it, it was returned in the best working and cleanest
condition I have ever seen. I would highly recommend his talent and services
to anyone.
