The variable macro tube works very well with the 80/4 and the 135/4.5 (I
have them both) and is very practical in the field. to go beyond 1:1 with the
80 and the tube takes a special, probably achromatic close-up lens (but I
have that too). The lens may be difficult to fnd, of course.
