I just read last night in fj.rec.photo that someone went home to trade his
Nikon FE10 for his father's Canon P(?). He was saying that at the time his
father bought his Canon, he had to pay the equivalent of
four times his monthly salary. (That sounds rather high, and I wonder how
his father managed to live for four months, but his father might have been
living with his parents)
I did not understand why the young man wanted the old camera so much. Now
I know he was part of a trend in Japan.
